Hey friends,
Summer schedules can get a little wild.
Vacations, kids home from school, longer days, weekend plans… it’s easy for your routine to get thrown off if you’re not intentional.
So here’s our best advice for the summer months ahead:
Pick your 2 summer anchor classes.
Not your perfect schedule.
Not your “I’ll come every day” schedule.
Just the 2 classes each week you can realistically commit to.
Why?
Because summer consistency doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. Even 2 classes a week can help you:
- stay strong and flexible
- support your nervous system
- keep stress from piling up
- maintain momentum
- feel better in your body all summer long
And the best part? You don’t have to start over in the fall.
Here’s what we know:
- Yoga helps calm the system, regulate stress, and bring you back to center.
- Inferno Hot Pilates boosts energy, lifts your mood, and helps you feel strong, capable, and alive.
That’s why this summer, we’re focusing on one simple goal:
Stay Strong. Stay Steady.
If you haven’t already, take a look at the schedule and choose your 2 anchor classes now.
Put them on your calendar. Protect them like appointments.
Take it a step further by booking them in the App, then they will appear under “My Schedule” in the app.
Your future self will thank you.
See you in class,
This week, we’re spotlighting Gana S. — a member whose consistency, openness to every class style, and dedication to growth have inspired both teachers and fellow members alike.
From Bikram to Pilates to Strength Training, Gana’s journey is a reminder that steady effort truly transforms both body and mind.
You’ve become known for taking such a great variety of classes at the studio.
What inspired you to explore different styles, and what has each one added to your wellness journey?
“In the past, I often struggled to stay consistent with exercise routines and would lose motivation after a few classes. But this studio inspired me so much and kept me motivated. It’s been 2 years for now and I am happy to continue my journey with Bikram yoga.
When I enter the studio, I feel very positive vibes and energy in my mind. During and after COVID, I was doing a lot of remote work, sitting at a desk at home, gaining weight, dealing with back pain, and struggling with plantar fasciitis. Finally, I joined with Bikram Yoga at Tracy, and I truly feel like my life changed.
My body changed, my mindset changed, and I became more motivated. It’s been almost 2 years now, and I’m still continuing Bikram Yoga and Pilates, with Strength Training being the latest addition to my journey.”
If you had to pick your 2 anchor classes, which would they be and why?
“I would pick Bikram yoga and Pilates. Bikram yoga keeps me mentally focused and disciplined, while Pilates helps me feel balanced and strong. The latest addition-Strength Training, has also helped me build more confidence and energy.”
At The Vibe, we’ve seen you flourish from someone more quiet and reserved into a person who is outgoing, strong, and confident. What changes—physical, mental, or emotional—have surprised you the most throughout your journey?
“One of the biggest surprises throughout this journey has been the way I’ve grown emotionally and mentally. I feel stronger, more focused, and more confident than before. Nowadays, if I skip a few classes, it feels like I’m missing something important in my routine and life.”
You’ve clearly put in the work across Bikram, Pilates, and Strength Training. What advice would you give to someone who wants to build consistency but struggles to stay motivated?
“My advice for anyone struggling with consistency and motivation is- You don’t need to overthink it — just grab your mat and enter the studio. Once you are there, you automatically feel the positive vibes and energy around you. Keep showing up and doing the same thing consistently for some time, and slowly your life starts changing.”
“I would also like to add that I really appreciate and thank my wonderful teachers — Cheryl Nalls, Tre Herrera, Jonalyn Henle, Carla Bachetti, Tom Henle, Traci Sprague, and Tiffany — for all their support, encouragement, and inspiration throughout my journey.”
Thank you, Gana, for taking the time to share your journey and insight with our community. Your consistency, positivity, and willingness to embrace every challenge continue to inspire all of us at The Vibe.
